Dear Supper Club Supporter,
As mentioned at the May Supper Club meeting, the paid-up members of Better Bedford Independent Party were to meet to discuss its future.
They did so on 27 June 2011 and voted by 22:3 to cease all activities and dissolve the Party in accordance with its Constitution.
This was brought about following consideration of declining support for independent candidates to the Borough Council and the prospect of maintaining enthusiasm until the next Mayoral and Council elections in 2015.
Therefore, we regret that the Supper Club will not be meeting again, but we thank you for your friendship and support over the last
8 years.
